I’m a 25-year-old living in St. Louis with my husband and our chocolate lab. I spend too much of my time workin’ 8 to 5, so I’m creating this blog to share some of the things I love: food, fitness, and fun!
I love to eat! Who doesn’t?! I’ve always liked to bake and have a lot of happy childhood memories of baking cookies with my older sisters. Since getting married and moving into a house with ample kitchen space, I’ve been experimenting in the kitchen and loving it! I don’t intend to post everything I eat, but will include some of my successes (and some of my failures).
I genuinely LIKE eating healthy foods. I try to eat as many whole grains, fruits, vegetables and lean sources of protein as I can and steer clear of overly-processed foods and things with lots of icky chemical ingredients.
Being active and staying fit is an important part of my life. I love to run, ride my bike, and workout. I strive to do something active each day, even if it’s just going for a walk with my dog and husband. I’ll be sharing some of my favorite workouts and workout tips on the blog!
This pretty much covers everything else, right?! Besides food and fitness, I love to hang out with my husband and friends, go to Cardinals baseball games, play with my puppy, go to happy hour…you get the picture!
